Trivia: A video game based on Aliens in the Attic was released in 2009. The game features the storyline of the film and is available for Nintendo DS, Wii, PlayStation 2 and Windows PC.

Fair Game

Fair Game is a 2010 biographical film drama starring Naomi Watts and Sean Penn. It is based on Valerie Plame's memoir, Fair Game: My Life as a Spy, My Betrayal by the White House.
CIA operative Naomi Watts discovers her identity is allegedly leaked by the government as payback for an op-ed article her husband wrote criticizing the Bush administration. It was released in 2010 and the film won the "Freedom of Expression Award" from the National Board of Review.

Inspite of everything that happened, the marriage between two people who care and support each other and their family are honoured.
They find their strength and stand by each other and that was a moment of great inspiration.

Straight from Spain, the movie has a freshness and stillness as it captures the relevant happenings in the life of the three friends.
Enjoying the Tomatina festival, Skydiving, Bull racing, Diving --- all as a way to release the fear and truly let go was as inspiring as doing it myself.
Life is fun with all of this and still can continue to be without it too, was an important learning. I am inspired by the simplicity and the humour of the film.

Trivia: The La Tomatina festival shown in the movie was re-created in Bunol, Valencia, Spain with almost 16 tons of tomatoes specially flown in from Portugal.

Just Go With It

On a weekend trip to Hawaii, Adam Sandler playing the role of a plastic surgeon convinces his loyal assistant i.e. Jennifer Aniston to pose as his soon-to-be-divorced wife in order to cover up a careless lie he told to his much-younger girlfriend. A 2011 release, Just Go With It scored an average 6.5 on reviews and is a romantic comedy film.

It was a wonderful experience to watch this piece of cinema. The movie signified the relevance of bonding with family through holidays for me. Hawaii is captured so beautifully in the frames, I almost felt like I was there.
I am inspired to note how important it is to move with grace, no matter what age you are.

A 2010 romantic comedy centered on the boyish actor Justin Long and the talented Drew Barrymore who try to keep their love alive as they shuttle back and forth between New York and San Francisco to see one another.

A truly unique story, it was delightful to observe how people are in touch with the right ones for a given period of time.

I totally loved the look and feel of the movie over all.
It came very close to what the 'real' life of a television producer may be.
I am inspired by the amazing zeal of energy that seemed to be so focused, passionate and not giving uP in form of the role played by Rachel Mc Adams.

Robert De Niro wants to appoint a successor and is on a close mission to understand if his son in law Ben Stiller has what it takes.

The movie continues to keep a smile on my face through out. It is amazing to see how the actors continue their journey in their respective characters through this third sequel.

Eat Pray Love

An average box office film, Eat Pray Love starrs Julia Roberts who realizes how unhappy her marriage really is, and that her life needs to go in a different direction. After a painful divorce, she takes off on a round-the-world journey to "find herself".

This inspirational movie had many moments of 'Aha' for me. What stood out was the decision and conviction that Julia Roberts had towards her inner journey.

Contact

A Sci-Fic drama film adapted from the novel of the same name. Work began on this movie in 1979, however it is only after a long period of 18 years that this project saw the day light i.e. in 1997.
Jodie Foster portrays the scientist who finds strong evidence of extraterrestrial life and is chosen to make first contact. Supporting her is the handsome Matthew McConaughey. A 7.5/10 this is a must watch!

I sum it up in three things i learnt from this brilliant piece of cinema:
1. We feel so cut off, so alone...only we are NOT
2. We are such small, insignificant, rare and precious part of something bigger than us
3. The Universe is a ever expanding place...beautiful!

Kung Fu Panda 2 is a 2011 3D American computer-animated action comedy film and the sequel to the 2008 film Kung Fu Panda. This time the Panda joins forces with a group of new kung-fu masters to take on an old enemy with a deadly new weapon.

This whole movie sums up for me in the following dialogue between the Panda and his master, 'If you have inner peace, anything is possible'.

Following its release, Fast Five garnered critical praise, becoming the highest rated entry in the franchise. This time round Vin Diesel & his crew find themselves on the wrong side of the law once again as they try to switch lanes between a ruthless drug lord and a relentless federal agent.

I realised that a big heart & a carefree attitude can bring loads of focus and confidence. And with both those attributes one can go a long long way!

An average rated 2011 release, Gul Panag plays the role of a woman experiencing many changes shortly before turning 30.

It was very interesting to see how this movie came so up and close to the real Mumbai life. I observed how important it can be to figure yourself out and yet I learnt that it is okay to take your time in doing so.
